On December 20th 2022, Aruna members hosted a round table on "Is Grad School Right For Me?" with those who are considering pursuing graduate degrees in Social Sciences and Humanities in North American institutions. Moodjalin Sudcharoen (she), PhD in Linguistic Anthropology from University of Chicago, currently a lecturer in Anthropology at University of Florida


Cheryl Yin (she), PhD in Linguistic Anthropology from University of Michigan, currently a post-doc at University of California Berkeley


Juan Garcia Oyervides (he), PhD in Spanish & Portuguese, currently an assistant professor at West Texas A&M University


and moderated by current Aruna co-director Chu May Paing (she/they), PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology at University of Colorado Boulder.
